I found you here beneath the stones
In velvet silence you have waited for centuries
Here, sitting among the quiet dead and candle-lighting faithful
Watching, listening, bathed in your perfect stillness
Above, through time and gilded rock,
Angels fill the space with burning songs of glory
Trickling down through the time worn foundation
Their gaudy noise is but a trimming to your garment
I have heard your whisper at the hidden springs
I have felt your touch in the shadowed forest
I have tasted your salt tears at the sandy shore
Now I sit, your gaze upon me
A myriad names flow from my lips
I drink deep this blessed peace
Like wine from an offered cup
Humbled, Silent, Forever Changed
